2019 Gala Ball

Tickets are now on sale for the 2019 Gala Ball which will be held in Melbourne on Saturday, October 19.

Now in its eighth year, the Gala Ball is the major fundraising event for Huntington’s Victoria for the year.

It is a great opportunity to meet people, have fun and help raise money. All proceeds from the ball are used to provide services to the HD community.

Each year over 300 guests attends including medical specialists, researchers, professionals, corporate supporters, friends and the most distinguished participants – members of the HD community.

Huntington’s Victoria CEO Tammy Gardner urged people to get in early to secure a ticket.

“This is the event of the year for our community,” Ms Gardner said.

“It is a lot of fun but it is also an opportunity to learn more about the impact that HD has on individuals and families.

“Right now there is no way to treat HD or to cure it and we need to do everything we can to ensure people who have the disease and their families get all the support that they need.

“Buying a ticket to the ball is one way to have fun and really help to make a difference.”

The Gala Ball will be held on October 19 at ZINC Federation Square.
