HD May Awareness Month
Every May, we come together to recognise, support, and stand alongside
individuals and families impacted by Huntington’s Disease.
At Huntington’s Victoria, May Awareness Month is more than a campaign, it is a collective moment. A time when our community, supporters, professionals,
and advocates unite to raise awareness, share stories, and remind one another that no one is walking this journey alone.
Huntington’s Disease affects not just individuals, but entire families. It brings
challenges that are often unseen, and experiences that can feel isolating.
That’s why this month matters, it shines a light on those experiences and
creates space for connection, understanding, and support.
Throughout May, we invite you to stand with the HD community in ways that
feel meaningful to you. Whether it’s wearing blue, lighting up your local
spaces, joining conversations, or simply learning more you are helping build a
stronger, more visible, and more compassionate community.
Together we say:
We hear you,
We stand with you!
