When did you start working at HV?
I have been with Huntington’s Victoria since 2009.

What do you love most about working with the HD community?
Where do I start after working side by side with such a wonderful community over the years I still admire how protective they are of each other which I feel is truly unique.

What is one fun fact about yourself?
I love to have a dance around the office and anywhere else the team lets me!

What year did you become a board member at HV?
2009.
What experience and skill set do you bring to HV?
My experience and expertise are in human resources management and I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and Organisational Development. I am currently employed at Monash Health, responsible for Human Resources business partnerships for the Mental Health Program.
What do you enjoy most about being a board member of HV?
Being on the HV Board provides me with the opportunity to support the HV community and to help make the world a better place for them.

What year did you become a board member at HV?
2015.
What experience and skill set do you bring to HV?
I have over 20 years of experience in accounting, business services and taxation. My current focus is on assisting my clients with the migration of their accounting systems into the Cloud to gain efficiency within their business. I work at Morrows.
What do you enjoy most about being a board member of HV?
The opportunity to help make a difference for people with Huntington’s disease and their families.

What year did you become a board member at HV?
2023.

What experience and skill set do you bring to HV?
Professionally, I have 20 years’ experience in marketing, communications, and business development, with expertise in the professional services sector. I’m also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Personally, I come from an HD family and am gene positive, which enables me to share my lived experience and perspective with the board.

What do you enjoy most about being a board member of HV?
It’s an absolute privilege to be able to support HV and drive initiatives that will best serve our community.

About Me

What year did you become a board member at HV?
I joined the board in 2023.

What experience and skill set do you bring to HV?

I have worked in the welfare sector for Anglicare Victoria for over 30 years and Im currently a Youth Crisis Worker in a young women’s refuge.

My best friend had Huntington’s disease and I supported her from the time she got tested until she gained her HD warrior wings, by being an advocate and a voice after she no longer was able to use hers.

What do you enjoy most about being a board member of HV?
My belief in what the organisation is wanting to achieve and supporting them to make a difference in the lives of all that are affected by Huntington’s disease.
